About
My name is Bairtai and I am an artist from Kalmykia, Europe’s only Buddhist republic.
I love illustrating children’s books and magazines, and writing my own fairy tales inspired by my culture’s myths and folklore.
My other passion is teaching children’s art classes at a local studio called “Little Leonardo”.
My work has been featured at illustration festivals in Israel, Indonesia, and Russia.
In my free time, I practice Kendo and Jodo, and run a Dojo together with my husband.
